The movie had a lot of colorful language, perhaps too much, but perhaps bad guys really talk that way. Outside of the language we enjoyed the movie.
I've got almost twenty of his action movies, and buy a few every week. Highly recommended! I would recommend this to any Jason Statham fan; however, it seems like the editors must have left a lot on the floor when they were trimming the film down.
Some characters are introduced but then barely have a part in the film. Another change for Jason Statham is the action is not his typical.
Do not expect another Transporter movie. If you seek for the meaning of life, to heighten your spiritual life or to broaden your language skill, this film is definitely not for you.

Franco is your man if you want a creepy sociopath. Statham is your man and he delivers what you expected from him. I didn't fall asleep. That's an indicator to me that it was decent enough an action film to keep me awake and entertained.
I know: Homefront isn't any kind of raving intellectual challenge. Sure, we've all seen similar stuff before. But I just really liked it.
I've watched it twice now and liked it as much the second time as the first. Jason Statham is always at his best in these kind of one-man-against-the-world kind of movies.
While relatively predictable to a degree--maybe even a strong degree--Homefront was still fun for me just watching it being played out.
It is, after all is said and done, a rather standard revenge movie with the good guy getting to pound, shoot and otherwise maim the bad guys.
It's all done very well with James Franco and Kate Bosworth doing a fine job as the backwoods hicks. If you like these kind of action flicks like I do, then I highly recommend it.
Home Front is no Godfather or even close to it, but it's just a fun-to-watch action flick. I would like my money back.
